Barbara’s Heat Cycle Battle

For more than 17 years, Barbara has been a licensed breeder. Much of that time she bred small breed dogs and never had problems getting her females to go into heat. “They were like rabbits. Their cycles were so predictable I never had an issue,” Barbara recalls. But about four years ago, she decided to start breeding Labradors instead. “The first time they were of breeding age the females didn’t cycle. Labs are like that, they cycle when they want to. But it’s hard to operate a business with something that isn’t reliable. It was difficult and frustrating. I never knew when they would cycle,” Barbara says.

Being a Revival customer for years, Barbara called Tina, a Pet Care Pro, and explained what was happening. “I have been a breeder a long time. But no one knows everything and there are always new things to learn. That’s why I called Tina to ask for her advice,” Barbara says.

“I told her we could help her. I suggested Doc Roy’s® B Strong,” Tina recalls. But Barbara had her doubts. “When she said all I needed was B Strong, my first impression was ‘are you kidding me? That’s not going to solve this’,” Barbara recalls.

But she took Tina’s advice and gave the dogs B Strong. “I started using it and they immediately went into heat. I couldn’t believe it. I first thought that was just a coincidence, but I’ve now been using B Strong for a few years and it’s like clockwork. The females go into heat every six months,” Barbara says.

Using the B Strong supplement not only helped her females get into a regular heat cycle, it also boosted their energy. “They are healthy and happy. It’s fantastic. And I love that it’s safe to use,” Barbara says. This simple solution turned into a lifesaver for Barbara’s business. “I couldn’t believe the difference. It was a real awakening and it has changed the whole way I do business now. I can reliably tell people, ‘yes, I will have puppies’ and I know when I will be expecting another litter. It’s easier to run my business and plan my personal life, knowing when I should and shouldn’t breed,” she says.
