Update: 2021 Paws for a Cause raises $12,000 for non-profit

Tails were wagging in the perfect weather as 20 dogs and almost 50 walkers and runners, some virtually, gathered for the fourth annual Paws for a Cause 5K Fun Run and Doggie Dash on August 28, 2021. The Revival Animal Health Paw Squad and Good Dog teamed up for the event at Windmill Park in Orange City, IA. This year’s event raised $12,000 to benefit Partners for Patriots, an Iowa-based non-profit group that provides free service dogs to military veterans across the country.

What is Paws for a Cause?

Paws for a Cause is a fundraising event where 100% of the money raised is donated to a pet-focused nonprofit. The 2021 recipient will be Partners for Patriots, a nonprofit organization based in Iowa, that provides free service dogs to military veterans across the country.

How Can I Signup?

Simply register at Getmeregistered.com/PawsforaCauseRun. The in-person event will be at Windmill Park in Orange City, IA on August 28^th, 2021. The event will kickoff at 8:30 a.m. If you choose to participate virtually, you can do your run/dash anytime between August 18^th and 28^th, 2021. That means you’ll have ten days, wherever you are located, to do your walk/run/doggie dash at your own pace. If you’d rather just make a donation to Partners for Patriots, there is a link on the registration page where you can do that! The first 100 who register will get Paws for a Cause t-shirts and swag bags. Sign up early so your items can be shipped to you before the start date. That way you can wear your shirt out on your run! After signing up, you’ll also get a link to the event’s Facebook group where you can share pictures of you on your run or with your four-legged friends on your doggie dash.
