Stories of Service Dogs: Davis & Vesper

A police dog protecting her partner. A therapy dog offering emotional support. A service dog picking up dropped items and helping to build independence. A tail wag welcoming you home after a long day at work. At Revival, we are proud of our role in helping keep these hard-working canines healthy from the moment they are born. Earlier this year, one of our Revival Animal Health Paw Squad team members welcomed another type of hard-working canine to his family. And he and his family are sharing their story of working with a Canine Companions service dog. During the workdays, you’ll find Joel working in the Revival marketing and sales departments as the Senior Director of Demand & Customer Experience. But evenings and weekends, Joel and his wife Anne are the busy parents of four boys, one of whom is disabled. In May of 2021, Joel, Anne and their son Davis drove to Ohio to meet and bring home their newest family member, Vesper, a Canine Companions service dog, who is trained with over 40 commands. Watch the story of Davis and Vesper. A young boy and his new best friend.
