Albuterol Combo is a combination of 4 different breathing medications. It works great for horses who suffer from allergies or asthma that may cause them to have chronic lung issues. This inhalation solution is nebulized directly into the lungs and the effects can often be seen quickly.
Active Ingredients
Albuterol Sulfate
Treats/prevents bronchospasms which is the narrowing of the airway (Cunha, 2020).
Cromolyn Sodium
Prevents nasal effects of allergies like inflammation of the nasal passages (MedLine Plus, n.d.).
Ipratropium Bromide
Helps to open up the airways by relaxing the muscles (WebMD, n.d.).
Budesonide
A steroid used to treat inflammation (MedLine Plus, n.d.).
