KMR^® milk replacer is fortified with all the vitamins and minerals kittens need for optimal growth. Formulated to provide a caloric pattern similar to queen's milk in protein, fat and carbohydrates. KMR^® is easy-to-digest and highly palatable. It is also good to use with growing kittens or adult cats needing additional nutrients due to illness or other stressful events. Storage:
Unopened powder should be stored in a cool, dry location. Opened powder must be refrigerated for up to three months or can be frozen for up to six months to preserve freshness. Reconstituted KMR^® powder must be refrigerated. Discard unused potion after 24 hours. Do not freeze KMR^® Liquid in original container.

All kittens should receive the queen's milk for at least two days, if possible. The colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases.

Feed at room or body temperature. KMR^® Liquid may be fed at the daily rate of two tablespoons (30 ml) per four ounces (115 g) of body weight. The daily feeding rate should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Kittens' needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Small or weak kittens may need to be fed KMR^® Liquid every three to four hours, while larger kittens will do well when fed every eight hours. Weigh the kittens daily to assure adequate feeding.

Pregnant and Lactating Queens/Growing Kittens (post weaning), show cats and/or convalescing cats: Feed 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of KMR^® Liquid per 5 lb (2.2 kg) of body weight daily.

KMR^® Powder Directions for Use: Gently shake or stir one part powdered KMR into two parts warm water. A part is any measuring device you use: teaspoon, tablespoon, or cup. Do not use a blender.

When a food supplement is desired for growing post-weaned kittens, show cats, and old or convalescent cats KMR^® Powder should be fed at a rate of one teaspoon per 5 lb (2.2 kg) of body weight.

Pregnant and Lactating Queens: Mix KMR^® Powder into the daily ration at the rate of two teaspoons per 5 lb (2.2 kg) of body weight until two weeks after queening.
Reconstituted KMR^® Powder must be refrigerated up to 24 hours. Discard unused portion after 24 hours.

A 6 oz can of KMR^® Powder makes approximately 30 oz of liquid mixed 1:2. A 12 oz can of powder makes approximately 60 oz of liquid mixed 1:2. A 28 oz can of powder makes approximately 140 oz of liquid mixed 1:2. A 5 lb pail makes approximately 400 oz when mixed 1:2.
