Omeprazole and Misoprostol work together to treat and prevent Ulcers in horses. Omeprazole reduces the amount of acid secreted by the stomach, while Misoprostol helps to heal the lining. Misoprostol is often used for hind gut ulcers though it can be beneficial in all ulcers.
