This equine 7 way vaccine also protects horses against eastern, western and Venezuelan encephalomyelitis (EEE, WEE and VEE), West Nile virus (WNV), and tetanus.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe duration of immunity against EIV is at least 6 months and against WNV is at least 12 months. The duration for the remaining organisms has not been determined.
