Revival Animal Health and ProVet Logic are partnering for this year’s annual fun run/walk on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024 starting at 10:00 am CT at Riverside Park (1301 Riverside Blvd) in Sioux City, IA. What is Paws for a Cause?

Each year the Revival Animal Health Paw Squad organizes Paws for a Cause to support an animal-focused nonprofit, giving 100% of the proceeds back to that organization. For the 2024 event we are excited to partner with two great recipients- Partners for Patriots, a nonprofit organization based in Iowa, that provides free service dogs to military veterans across the country, and Sioux City STARS, a therapeutic horseback riding program that provides opportunities for individuals with a diagnosed emotional, intellectual or physical disability to work with horses in a variety of ways.

You can run the 5K or walk the one-mile doggie dash with or without a dog! If a 5K is too much for you or your pooch, the one-mile doggie dash is a perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy the fresh air with your four-legged friend! No need to dash, you can also stroll.

What’s New This Year

New at this year’s event, there will be a 1st place prize for the fastest 5k runner and a prize for the best dressed pup! So have fun and show off your dog’s style! This year there will also be raffle prizes, a food truck and a puppy playground area with dog agility equipment for the dogs to enjoy in the downtime.

How Can I Be Part of this Tail-Wagging Event?

Simply register at getmeregistered.com/pawsforacauserun. The virtual event will be held between August 12th and 24th, 2024, giving you 12 days, wherever you are located, to do your walk/run/doggie dash at your own pace.

What is the Benefit of Early Paws for a Cause Signup?

The first 100 registrants receive Paws for a Cause t-shirts and amazing swag bags filled with goodies for you and your dog! In-person participants will receive your bags the day of the event. Virtual runners can pick up your bags at Revival Animal Health in Orange City, IA, or they will be shipped to you before the start date so you can wear your shirt out on your run. After signing up, you’ll also get a link to the event’s Facebook group. We’d love to see pictures of you on your run or with your four-legged friends on your doggie dash.
