Instructions: Weigh your pet prior to administration to ensure proper dosage. To eliminate adult fleas on your dog or cat, give one dose of CAPSTAR® (nitenpyram). If your pet becomes reinfested, you can safely administer another dose once per day as needed.

To give CAPSTAR place the tablet directly in your pet's mouth, or hide the tablet in a small amount of food.

If you choose to hide the pill in food, monitor closely to ensure your pet swallows it. If you're unsure the full dose was ingested, a second tablet may be safely given.
