VMRD Foal IgG test simplifies horse-side measurement of IgG in neonatal foals, offering objective results and room temperature storage.
Reader Sold Separately
Reader works for both the IgG and SAA kits

Measuring IgG level is an invaluable component of any neonatal foal exam for both sick and outwardly healthy foals. If a foal has not absorbed enough IgG from colostrum in the first hours of life, risk for serious infection will be high. Point-of-care measurement of IgG allows appropriate oral and/or intravenous therapy to be instituted in a timely manner, providing antibodies to help the foal fight off infections. Whole blood. The VMRD Reader is necessary for testing/results.

Optional Reader Sold Separately. Reader does not come with any tests. Reader works for both the IgG and SAA kits.
